Q. I can't see the updates that I have made in my site's CMS.

A.

When saving your changes there is the option to 'save and publish' or 'save'. Save and publish will update your changes on the site but save will only save them within the CMS for future publication.

Q. The image I have added to my page looks blurry, pixelated or poor quality.

A.

The image may not be big enough in 'px' size.  Check if there is a minimum size given within the CMS and if not try uploading it at a minimum of 1200px width

Q. I have created a new user in the CMS  but the invite email is not coming through.

A.

Please check your spam folders and any other filters you may have set up in case the email has not reached your inbox. If you are still unable to find it please let us know and we can send out a password to you manually.

Q. I have an overview / landing page on my site but I can’t edit the details in the sub-sections.

A.

Please check the sub pages that sit below it for a 'listing' tab as this is likely to contain the information for each sub-page that shows on the landing page.

Q. What is the difference between a staging and a live site.

A.

The live site is the version of your site that members of the public will see.The staging site is where we make any new development changes in order to test them and to allow you to approve them before they are moved to the live site.

You may find that some content elements such as text and images are out of date on the staging site but this will not affect the live site when new development work is deployed.

Q. I am not receiving any emails from our contact forms.

A.

Please check your spam folders and any other filters you may have set up in case the email has not reached your inbox. If this does not resolve the issue you should check that the correct email address has been set up for the form within the CMS. If you are unsure of how to do this get in touch with us and we can do that for you.

Q. I need to change the book a table widget on my site.

A.

Below are the details we will require from you to complete this.

  • In order to change the widget we will need you to supply us with the updated widget code.
  • Most third party widgets do not allow us to make styling changes so please ensure that any updates to the look and feel are made ahead of delivering the code. If you would like us to make these changes for you we will require login details for your account.
  • Most functionality issues with third party widgets will need to be resolved by the widget provider. We would advise testing the widget in preview mode before sending us the code.

Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks from submission of your request before any go-live deadlines as development work or amendments to the widget may be required.
